Incorporate pastels into your spring decor ideas
Pastels are the ultimate way to bring that colorful yet airy feeling of spring into your home, effortlessly brightening up any space with their soft, soothing tones.
Emily Campagna, owner of Rust & Thistle, a wedding florist in Boise, ID, shares her expertise on weaving pastel tones into your spring decor ideas. “I love to lighten up my primary bedroom with warm blush tones and soft yellow hues to combat the long winter and add in some much-needed energy into my favorite spots.” These pastel shades create a peaceful space that feels like hitting the refresh button—perfect for bringing colors to rooms where you want to relax, unwind, and just breathe in the warmth of the season.
Pastels inspired by florals
Campagna continues, “Some of the first flowers that bloom, like the Crocus, Tulips, and Iris’, inspire me to incorporate them or their pastel colors into my spring decor both in my home and studio space.” These flowers aren’t just spring’s welcome mat—they’re like nature’s confetti, adding the perfect pop of color to brighten up any room and bring that fresh energy indoors.
As a wedding florist, Emily also enjoys the energy that pastels bring to her studio. “In the studio, things come alive again and as the wedding season just begins, the sight of pastel palettes is oh-so-welcome,” she adorns. Whether it’s the gentle blush of a rose or the delicate lavender of an orchid, pastels instantly bring warmth and joy to any space.
