Last fall, our floral team had the privilege of creating a magical atmosphere for a wedding at this idyllic location. From the stunning backdrop of the Wood River Valley, every element of this wedding spoke of romance and elegance. River Run Lodge is a gem tucked away in the heart of Sun Valley. Surrounded by lush greenery and the mountains of Sun Valley along the Wood River, it offers a serene setting for couples seeking a nature-inspired wedding. The lodge itself has rustic yet elegant architecture, with large windows allowing natural light to flood in, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. With its cozy interior and expansive outdoor spaces, it's the perfect canvas for creating an unforgettable wedding.
For the ceremony space, we created a lush floral arch using a mix of seasonal blooms such as hydrangeas, dahlias, and lisianthus, intertwined with wild foliage for a whimsical touch. As well as meadows of florals down the aisle and framing the start of the aisle entrance.
At the reception, tables were adorned with lifted centerpieces featuring a mix of garden roses, dahlias, and larkspur. The entire space was filled with greenery and flowers Including an eleven foot long floral tunnel at the entrance to the event.
Creating wedding flowers for a wedding at River Run Lodge, was a blast. Even as an experience florist in Boise and Sun Valley, Idaho, we challenged ourselves yet again with this one. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Wood River Valley and the majestic mountains, we were inspired to design arrangements that captured the essence of romance and an elevated sophistication. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories—a celebration of nature's beauty and the timeless joy of marriage. We look forward to more weddings in Sun Valley this year!
